LIQUID-COOLED

"Break-in" Maintenance

(Occurs after first 24 hours run time)

Performed at 24 run hour period, this initial complete maintenance is needed to prepare the generator for ongoing and continuous operation. Components including the radiator, carburetor, and thermostat are checked to ensure overall system functionality. Fluid levels are aslo essential for liquid cooled maintenance.

Continuous-Use Maintenance

(Periodic, scheduled every 6 months)

We provide regular check-ups, oil and filter changes, spark plug and air filter replacements, including other essential system checks and tests. Having a service contract from Savant Electric will ensure regular maintenance is performed and your generator is ready to go when you need it!

What Does The LED Indicator Light Mean?

Green LED

"Ready"

Light illuminates when utility is present and generator is in AUTO. Starts to flash when automatic transfer switch (ATS) converts to generator power during a power outage.

YELLOW LED

"Non-Critical Alert"

Light illuminates when maintenance is required or warning is present. Yellow LED may also illuminate at the same time as either the red or green LED is illuminated.

RED LED

"Alarm"

Light illuminates when generator is OFF or a fault is detected. An error code is usually indicated on the display. Contact your local authorized Generac dealer for service.
